Position Summary

We are seeking a Technical Operations Associate to join our DAV & Outbound Data Operations team in Kolkata. This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable ofquickly learning new concepts with minimal supervision.

This role is high impact, ensuring the seamless flow of validated healthcare data by bridgingdevelopers, data delivery teams, and client-facing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Operational Support
  • Track and manage projects using Redmine (or similar tools), ensuring timely follow-ups and escalation of blockers.
  • Coordinate sync meetings, remove roadblocks, and maintain alignment with projecttimelines.
  • Anticipate issues and proactively propose solutions.

Data Validation & Quality Checks
  • Perform data completeness and quality validation using SQL, UNIX commands, and Google Sheets/Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
  • Develop lightweight checks to detect anomalies before outbound delivery.
  • Present findings clearly, with structured explanations that stakeholders can act on.

Documentation & Knowledge Management
  • Take ownership of maintaining and improving internal documentation: DAV submission files, PSV guides, outbound data logs, playbooks, and process flows.
  • Ensure all materials are updated, version-controlled, and audit-ready.
  • Translate technical or regulatory information (e.g., NCQA DAV, HPDE) into concise, easy-to-follow summaries.

Audit Preparation & Delivery
  • Assist with compiling and formatting artifacts for NCQA DAV audits.
  • Ensure submissions and customer deliverables are completed on time and with precision.

Process Improvement & Automation
  • Contribute to retrospectives by identifying pain points and proposing fixes.
  • Recommend automation, scripts, or checklist-based solutions to reduce repetitive tasks.
  • Explore ways to apply AI or lightweight tools to increase efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Health Information Systems, Public Health, or a related field; equivalent hands-on experience also considered.
  • 0–2 years of experience in healthcare technology, clinical data validation, or technical/operational support.
  • Exposure to SQL and UNIX basics. Familiarity with Notion, Redmine, Jira, or other project management systems is a plus.
  • Strong skills in Google Sheets/Excel for data manipulation and visualization.
