Fremont, CA – January 9, 2023 –Applied Research Works – Cozeva successfully completed the annual revalidation of Cozeva’s Validated Data Stream through the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s (NCQA) Data Aggregator Validation program. As a result, Cozeva’s Validated Data Stream is now eligible for use as standard supplemental data for Measurement Year 2022.
In December 2021, Cozeva became the first NCQA-certified Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) and Align Measure Perform (AMP) metrics engine to attain Validated Data Stream status as part of the first NCQA cohort. The Validated Data Stream feeds into the Cozeva’s certified HEDIS engine, ensuring that the data is accurate and impacts HEDIS scores according to the intent of the measure(s).
The NCQA Data Aggregator Validation program evaluates clinical data from Cozeva’s provider organization and health plan clients, as well as individual practices and providers. This validation helps ensure that health plans, providers, government organizations, and other participants in the healthcare ecosystem can trust the accuracy of the clinical data for use in their value-based healthcare delivery efforts. Cozeva’s Validated Data Stream standardizes the data collection, aggregation, and transmission processes for data from multiple electronic medical record (EMR) systems and transmits the data as validated continuity of care documents (CCDs) to applicable health plans. Cozeva’s interoperable system supports Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) standards and manages different file formats, deadlines, and primary source verification (PSV) on behalf of all the different EMR systems through NCQA-validated processes. This significantly reduces the administrative and audit burden across health plans, provider organizations and practices.
