Cozeva has successfully achieved the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)’s coveted “certified HEDIS® measures engine” status since 2013. Cozeva is currently certified to support all HEDIS® MY 2023 measures for real-time tracking and submissions.
Cozeva is also certified by NCQA to support the full California Integrated Health Association (IHA)’s “Align. Measure. Perform.” (AMP – formerly known as Value-based Pay for Performance, VBP4P) measure set since 2015 – and has successfully reported AMP program performance to IHA for nine years running. Today, Cozeva supports more than 75 CA physician organization entities, caring for over 3 million Californians enrolled in Commercial and Medicare HMO, POS and Commercial PPO products.
ARW is among the first data vendors to earn the “Validated Data Stream” Designation in NCQA’s new Data Aggregator Validation (DAV) program. Furthermore, ARW was the only NCQA-certified HEDIS and AMP metrics engine to earn this status in the first DAV cohort in December of 2021.
Seen as a vital, early step in achieving NCQA’s vision of a digital measurement ecosystem, validated data flows also improve the efficiency of today’s quality measurement processes. Uniquely accepted as standard supplemental data in HEDIS® audits, no primary source verification (PSV) is required for HEDIS reporting when health plans report data from Data Aggregator Validation validated sources. This certification process verifies ARW’s adherence to NCQA’s rigorous standards from ingestion at primary sources through the transmission to end-users.
ARW is certified under HITRUST’s (Health Information Trust Alliance) CSF (Common Security Framework) from 2022 to 2024.
The HITRUST CSF certification implies that ARW meets globally recognized information security standards, regulations, and business requirements including the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). This designation also shows that ARW takes a risk-based unified approach in managing data protection compliance that takes into account multiple levels of implementation.
This certification is the industry gold standard, combining security standards set under the Health Information Privacy Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), ActHIPAA, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
This certification was developed to address the multitude of security, privacy, and regulatory challenges facing organizations. By including federal and state regulations, standards, frameworks, and incorporating a risk-based approach, the HITRUST CSF helps organizations address these challenges through a comprehensive and flexible framework of prescriptive and scalable security and privacy controls.
In addition, ARW’s cloud-based platform has been certified by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC). The ONC Health IT Certification Program ensures that Certified Health Information Technology meets the technological capability, functionality, and security requirements adopted by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
ARW is also certified under the ONC 2015 Certified Electronic Health Record Technology (CEHRT), a voluntary certification program under ONC.
