The California Health and Human Services Data Exchange Framework (DxF) is a first-ever, statewide data-sharing agreement intended to accelerate the exchange of health information. The overall goal is to establish a floor of universal interoperability across the state. This session brings together the executive leaders of entities who have been designated as Qualified Health Information Organizations (QHIOs) facilitating the exchange of health and social services information in California. This session discussed how DxF works, the status of implementation, data governance, privacy, security and how it can benefit a participating organization.
