Cozeva joins the Allscripts Developer Program to Make New App Available for EHR Users
Cozeva is a certified HEDIS engine that provides point-of-care solutions for quality care gap closure, risk adjustment coding, and Case Management. Through this integration, Cozeva will retrieve clinical information from Allscripts Professional EHR to automatically close care gaps and improve risk adjustment workflows.
Fremont, CA, August 26, 2022 – Applied Research Works, Inc. announced today that Allscripts has certified Cozeva as part of the Allscripts Developer Program. Cozeva is an innovative solution that enables Allscripts Professional EHR™ users to retrieve clinical information from the EHR to automatically close quality (HEDIS) and risk care gaps within Cozeva. Cozeva also works with other EHRs, visit the Allscripts App Expo for a list of certified integrations.
With the integration, Cozeva will retrieve the patient’s clinical data (CCDA) upon encounter sign off. Cozeva will ingest and utilize the EHR data to report the most up-to-date evidence-based clinical guidelines pertaining to quality and risk. This solution accelerates decision-making and helps providers minimize administrative burden to identify gaps in their medical charts. Similar integrations resulted in an >8% performance increase for HEDIS measures such as HbA1c control, childhood immunizations, and controlling blood pressure.
